| This outpatient procedure requires general anesthesia and may require from 1-2 hours. Most patients experience mild to moderate discomfort and require 2-7 days of prescription medication. The bandages will be removed in 1-7 days and the swelling and bruising will improve in 3-10 days. Absorbable stitches do not require removal but non-absorbable stitches will be visible outside the skin and will be removed in 5-7 days. You should wear a sports bra or Ace wrap for 1-4 weeks. You may return to work in 3-7 work days and resume exercising in approximately 2 weeks. |
