Breast Augmentation Surgery Las Vegas

If you are considering Breast Enlargement, then you probably wish to have natural appearing breasts that bring your upper torso into harmony with the rest of your body. Not surprisingly, breast augmentation is the second most common cosmetic procedure in the United States. You might consider a breast enlargement if any of the following apply to your breast:

  • You feel that they are too small – self conscious in a bathing suit.
  • Your breasts are not the same size or they are asymmetric.
  • Your clothes fit great except that the bust is too large.
  • Your breasts are smaller and not as “perky” after pregnancy or breast feeding; breast sagging (ptosis) can sometimes be solved by enlargement.
  • You have reduced volume in the upper regions of your breasts.

An augmentation alone will only increase the volume. Often, after weight loss, childbirth or as a result of aging, the breasts lose volume and their shape changes. Attempting an augmentation when the skin is very elastic or loose may not produce a nice breast shape. In this case, combining an augmentation with a breast lift may be the desired procedure.

Generally, women seeking breast augmentation have a number of questions concerning such things as:

  • Position of the implant – above or below the muscle.
  • Surface/texture of the implant – smooth or textured.
  • Shape of implant – teardrop or round.
  • Volume of filler – size of implant (350 mL) vs (> 400 mL).
  • Filling of implant – fill to capacity or overfill (preferred).
  • Site of incision – under the breast, around the nipple, or under the arm.

We have attempted to answer a number questions in the Questions and Answers portion. However, you may discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the various options with your doctor during your consultation.
